Finance Technology is responsible for providing the Chief Financial Officer with technology strategy, development, and delivery of technical capabilities in support of their business and product priorities. This diverse portfolio of capabilities spans multiple technology disciplines and strategic innovations. Finance Technology provides strategic, enterprise-wide technology capabilities and enabling services to our line of business and management of the applications in terms of skills, stability, security, scalability, speed, and cost.

As a Principal Architect of Treasury Technology you will report to the Chief Architect for Finance Technology. You will be responsible for providing strategic architecture for technology initiatives supporting the Balance Sheet Data and Analytics technology, Financial and Capital Forecasting, Allocation / Attributions, Model Automation, and all associated tools for Reporting. You will collaborate with technology engineering teams to architect and design efficient, and innovative solutions for all Treasury requirements. This position will be responsible for leading the continued modernization of the organization's financial systems.

This role will work to influence many distinct functions and areas across Finance, Technology and Strategy and must be able to work with senior leaders of the organization to gain agreement and drive towards goals to be executed. The successful candidate will be an experienced leader with a background in Treasury management systems. This individual must be a highly motivated team player and a self-starter who can drive change in complex organizations, partnering with a diverse group of stakeholders to achieve results. The candidate should demonstrate executive presence and be accustomed to presenting material to senior level executives. The candidate should be flexible, be able to withstand challenges and adapt accordingly.

In this role, you will:
  • Build support for strategies and target state architectures with business and technology leaders
  • Guide development of actionable roadmaps through definition of interim state architectures
  • Provide solution architectures which are secure, highly available, resilient, and scalable
  • Collaborate and influence business stakeholders, developers, technology leadership
  • Conduct complex technology and system assessments for architecture solutions
  • Provide in-depth technical and systems consultation to internal clients and technical management
  • Stay ahead of industry best practices and emerging technologies and capabilities
  • Recommend innovations that enhance business capabilities and provide a competitive advantage to the organization
  • Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas
  • Contribute to community forums and communities of practice within the company
Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience working as a hands-on software developer architecting end-to-end solutions
  • 6+ years of experience working in large financial services organizations of 100k+ employees
  • 5+ years of experience in Corporate Treasury, Balance Sheet Management, Financial Capital and Liquidity Forecasting, and Analytics functions
  • 5+ years of complex service-oriented architecture and data analytics or AI/ML experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Azure Cloud (or comparable CSP)

  • Strong executive presence, facilitation skills, drive for results, attention to quality and detail, and a synergistic attitude
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective, well-articulated, written, and oral communications (e.g., emails, presentation materials) applying appropriate level of content/ detail dependent upon audience and intent
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal, and presentations skills across technical and non-technical groups
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on proactive solutions
  • Experience with Java, Big Data, Data Lakes, or Open Architecture stack
  • Experience in creating & delivering technology roadmaps
  • Displays vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Job Expectations:
  • Willingness to work on-site with hybrid work schedule at stated location

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
