As a Finance Principal Architect, you will report to the Chief Architect for Finance Technology. You will be responsible for providing strategic architecture for business initiatives supporting Accounting, Financial and Capital Forecasting, Liquidity, Investment Portfolio, and Strategic Planning. You will be responsible for efficient architecture and innovative solutions to transform business. This position will be responsible for leading the continued modernization of the organization's financial systems. This role will work to influence many distinct functions and areas across Finance, Technology and Strategy and must be able to work with senior leaders of the organization to gain agreement and drive towards goals to be executed.
The successful candidate will be an experienced leader with a background in financial processes and systems. This individual must be a highly motivated team player and a self-starter who can drive change in complex organizations, partnering with a diverse group of stakeholders to achieve results.
The candidate should demonstrate executive presence and be accustomed to presenting material to senior level executives. The candidate should be flexible, be able to withstand challenges and adapt accordingly.
In this role, you will:
- Build support for strategies and target state architectures with business and technology leaders.
- Guide development of actionable roadmaps through definition of interim state architectures.
- Provide solution architectures which are secure, highly available, resilient, and scalable.
- Collaborate and influence business stakeholders, developers, technology leadership.
- Conduct complex technology and system assessments for architecture solutions.
- Provide in-depth technical and systems consultation to internal clients and technical management.
- Stay ahead of industry best practices and emerging technologies and capabilities.
- Recommend innovations that enhance business capabilities and provide a competitive advantage to the organization.
- Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas.
- Contribute to community forums and communities of practice within the company.
- 7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 7+ years of experience working as a hands-on software developer designing and implementing service-oriented solutions with an emphasis on operational data and analytics.
- 5+ years of experience in Finance in one or more of the following areas: Corporate Accounting, Financial and Capital Forecasting, Liquidity, Investment Portfolio, and Strategic Planning.
- 5+ years of experience working in large financial services organization.
- Strong executive presence, facilitation skills, drive for results, attention to quality and detail, and a synergistic attitude.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective, well-articulated, written, and oral communications (e.g., emails, presentation materials) applying appropriate level of content/ detail dependent upon audience and intent.
- Excellent communications, interpersonal, and presentations skills across technical and non-technical groups.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on proactive solutions.
- Experience with application of AI/ML to real-world corporate finance problems.
- Experience in creating & delivering technology roadmaps
- Displays vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
