About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Senior Manager to serve as the Philadelphia Lockbox Site Manager to lead production teams composed of multiple functional areas at our Philadelphia Operations site. In this role you will manage exempt managers and non-exempt staff across a 24/7 environment.

  • Manage and develop teams of individual contributors and managers in roles with moderate work complexity and risk in the Operations functional area
  • Work with more experienced management to develop and execute business strategies
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within the Operations functional area
  • Improving efficiencies by having a proactive approach in ensuring resource allocation aligns with the budget and department goals
  • Develop and implement business unit strategies
  • Provide expertise for technical, operational and processing functions related to business unit
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Operation management functional team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with moderate complexity within scope of responsibility across business lines or functional areas
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peers associated with the function or affected by its outcomes
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Operations
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Work Schedule:
  • Ability to work shifts between 7:00am - 5:00pm or until the work is complete
  • Ability to work schedule that could vary between Monday - Friday
  • Schedule subject to change based on business need
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience managing managers
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization; including senior management
  • Lockbox experience
  • Banking operations experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience handling customer service escalations
  • Experience managing and leading larger operational groups with direct and indirect staff reporting up
  • Ability to read correspondence accurately and be able to provide a written response
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to motivate and provide performance feedback to staff
  • Ability to manage initiatives involving process improvements
  • Experience successfully collaborating with others in a change driven environment
  • Experience working with internal and/or external auditors
