About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Processor. The Wholesale International Program (WIP) is a Wholesale Banking key initiative to expand Wells Fargo's global platform by offering in-country lending, treasury management, foreign exchange and trade services in more than 20 countries through established Global Banking offices. The overarching objective of the Wholesale International Program initiative is to provide a consistent global customer experience that integrates seamlessly with Wells Fargo's market leading domestic solutions.

The Payment team supports the payments processing for WIP. The scope of this work includes the processing of inbound and outbound payment messages. Duties will include processing repairs, exceptions, cancellations, reversals and authorizations.

This person will be expected to assist in future transitions of similar workload into this team.

In this role, you will:
  • Perform moderately complex operations duties in support of either a service center or department environment.
  • Require considerable knowledge of company personnel policies and practices.
  • Collect data and prepare related operational reports.
  • Prepare input forms for automated data processing system.
  • Utilize the company's internal operations to perform duties.
  • Coordinate projects.
  • Furnish information to authorized persons.
  • Provide guidance to all levels of employees regarding personnel policies and procedures requiring some policy interpretation.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience in operations support, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree preferably business course and equivalent
  • 2 years of financial industry experience.
  • Knowledge of International Transfers and familiarity with compliance and regulatory rules helpful with a good grasp of world geography.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT, Federal Reserve wire transfer payments, Nostro accounts, Foreign Exchange a plus.
  • Knowledge of International Wire Transfer and/or excellent keyboarding skills with the ability to learn quickly a must.
  • Strict attention to detail is required with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills with a strong acumen in verbal and written communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well independently under pressure, multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to change.
  • Possess excellent troubleshooting, resolution, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to comprehend complex products and requirements and be able to articulate concepts in an easy-to-understand way.
  • Sound risk management mindset and good understanding of compliance - AML/OFAC
  • Ability to partner and coordinate with internal customers on projects and day to day tasks.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and familiarity with regulatory sanctions required.
  • Work hours: US East Coast Time Zone 9am - 6pm. Occasional overtime required.
  • Able to perform work and report on Philippine Holidays if falling on Mondays to Fridays
