Department Overview:
Insurance team is responsible to ensure that commercial property insurance is monitored based on the coverages required as per the partnership agreement for CLI and loan agreement/guidelines for loans valued 5o million or above for CMBS, WFMC and Capital Finance. Insurance tracking process starts with collection of insurance certificates by directly contacting Insurance companies, agents and borrowers via phone calls and emails and then auditing these certificates to ensure borrower is compliant with loan documents. Insurance Audit team is also responsible for sending out non-compliance letters to insurance agents and borrowers notifying the deficiencies in the certificate with respect to loan agreement. Insurance team also takes care of escrow disbursements to ensure invoices received from agents are paid in timely manner.

About this role:
This role is responsible for administering multiple Commercial Real Estate Insurance functions. Duties for this role will include supervising related applications, Process Mailboxes, resolving escalations from LOB, agents or borrowers via emails or calls, managing rush requests delivery.
In this role, you will:
- Supervise a team of Operation Specialists responsible for moderately complex transactional and operational tasks such as processing servicing related tasks, identifying problems, improving service levels and develop metric to measure growth and performance
- Ensure timely completion, quality and compliance within the operation area
- Work independently on moderately complex issues and projects
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development and escalates issues to senior management
- Provide training, performance, evaluation and coaching of less experienced team
- Make daily supervisory decisions and resolve moderately complex business issues related to team supervision, work allocation and daily operational tasks under direction of Operations management
- Leverage interpretation of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including senior managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Operations
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
- 2+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 1+ years of leadership experience
- Experience in Operations, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Leadership experience
- University degree in Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in handling Commercial Real Estate Loans with real time experience and knowledge of loan servicing documents and applications
- Excellent Communication Skills

- Demonstrated experience in giving feedback, coaching and mentoring.
