About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Network Engineering Senior Manager.

The individual will lead and oversee a team of engineers responsible for the solutioning, designing and automation of Campus, Branch/ATM and Voice Networks. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and extensive technical expertise in network engineering and software developeme. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of robust, secure, and scalable network solutions that meet the organization's needs.

A key driver of success for the role will also include incorporating corporate standards, policies, regulatory / legal compliance obligations, and recruiting to support buildout of strong engineering presence in-region. This leader must provide transformative leadership to collaboratively evolve engineering and infrastructure capabilities while building extensive software engineering skills across the organization.

As a leader, you will develop a strong engineering and innovation discipline for network services and hire, coach and mentor talented engineers and leads to build in best-in-class organization.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high performing team of Network Engineers providing Network and Voice engineering services.
  • Oversee the design, build and automation solutions for Campus, Branch/ATM and voice networks.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Actively contribute to building next generation solutions for Network and Voice Services, enhancing the current service levels
  • Talent Management, Stakeholder Management, Strategic Management, Operational & Process Management, Financial management.
  • Effectively manage the end-to-end asset lifecycle including patch compliance, vulnerability management, and configuration drift management
  • Collaborate with US technology managers to implementing various initiatives in a team extension and product operating model.
  • Proactively manage risk including deliverables, operational issues through implementation of right controls and escalate where required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with network hardware vendors and service providers.
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including managers
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in Network Engineering
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.
Essential Qualifications
  • BEor equivalent with 18+ years of experience, of which at least 5+ years in senior management roles leading large Network Engineering teams for a large enterprise, preferably for Banking and Financial Services organization.
  • 5 + years' experience in leading a team as Manager of Managers/leads.
  • 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams performing scripting and automation.
  • In-depth knowledge in WAN transport systems/services, LAN switching technology, routing protocols, SDWAN, Wireless LAN.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Network hardware like switches, routers, WLAN devices from Industry leading equipment vendors.
  • Prior experience in automating various activities related Network.
  • Strong demonstrated people development skills to hire, coach, develop, and mentor team members.
Desired experience
  • Extensive experience with designing and managing Campus, Branch, ATM and voice networks.
  • Strong knowledge of network automation tools and practices.
  • Proficiency in network security principles and practices.
  • Experience in new technologies such as cloud-based network solutions
  • Proven experience in initiating and driving end to end process improvement.
  • Experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, SDWAN hardware from Cisco, Arista
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
