About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Marketing Consultant with expertise in social media to join our Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) Marketing team. The consultant executes marketing across all channels focusing on digital and social media strategies primarily through LinkedIn.

Social Media presence is an important marketing tool for our advisors' marketing efforts. The Marketing Consultant supports Financial Advisors and the use of social media platforms to connect with clients and prospects. The position involves daily interaction with Financial Advisors (FAs) and WIM leaders supporting efforts to grow their practice through social media marketing. In addition to working closely with Financial Advisors throughout the day, the Consultant will work on several projects that help build multi-channel marketing solutions focused growth.

In this role, you will:
  • Assist Financial Advisors with marketing questions as simple as the why/how of social media to grow their proactive, from finding content to share a marketing piece, to a full consultative review of their marketing plan and implementation
  • Specifically focused on assisting advisors in the transition to a middleware product to help them manage their social media presence in an effective and compliant manner
  • Focus on traditional marketing channels and methods but give particular emphasis on Digital marketing with specific emphasis on LinkedIn
  • Participate in the development of marketing solutions that assist FAs in their goals, specifically ensuring that the FA perspective is fully understood and planned for
  • Become fully conversant and trained in current legal, firm and brand guidelines
  • Participate in the development of the National Marketing Team core business processes
  • Coordinate project deliverables from a variety of sources, gaining exposure to many aspects of the business
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Marketing, E-business, Digital Marketing, Digital Platform experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Social Media, primarily Linkedln for large distributed sales force (i.e. - Financial Advisor or Banker populations)
  • Digital and traditional marketing experience
  • Event and sponsorship management
  • Brokerage industry experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to provide strong customer service and develop customer relationships
  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check.
