Wells Fargo is seeking a Lending Operations Senior Manager to lead several functions within Auto Specialty Operations. This leader will be lead several high-risk functions within Specialty Operations which may include, Repo letters, Impounds, Will not owe, Delayed NOI, Delayed Sale, Attorney Represented, Book-sheet Discrepancies, Tax, and Insurance. In addition, this leader will drive to meet or exceed all established SLAs, execute on continuous process improvement, and proactively mitigate risk.   • Manage and develop large Loan Servicing teams responsible for a variety of processing functions, documentation, loan monitoring, or loan servicing.
  • Engage and influence stakeholders, internal and external partners, and peers associated with the Lending Operations functional area.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Lending Operations functional area.
  • Participate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelines.
  • Oversee implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, or business policies.
  • Determine appropriate strategies and actions of Lending Operations team to meet moderate to high-risk deliverables.
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures for meeting compliance, risk management, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including experienced managers.
  • Provide oversight of external vendors and their performance.
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Lending Operations.
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 3+ years of Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience managing managers and exempt level employees
  • 8 + years lending servicing operations experience
  • 6+ years direct management experience
  • Ability to conceptualize, develop, and implement process improvements
  • Strong attention to detail and analytic aptitude
  • Proven ability in partnering, collaborating, and building relationships with stakeholders, including line of business and functional leaders across a complex, matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong track record of delivering results including demonstrated project and initiatives management and execution
  • Demonstrated sound decision-making approach to complex problems
  • Experience managing high-risk, complex functions and controls
  • Experience with risk/issue management, root cause analysis, and process improvement
  • Experience managing operations businesses heavily rooted in regulatory risk in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Operational management experience, including development and monitoring of key operational performance measurements
Job Expectations:
  • Travel up to 20%
  • Ability to work on-site at one of the posted locations
