About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lending Operations Associate Manager.

In this role, you will:

  • Supervise the daily activities of a Loan Production or Loan Servicing team to ensure timely completion, quality, and compliance in Lending Operations functional area
  • Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development in loan production or loan servicing activities
  • Make day to day supervisory or tactical decisions related to Lending Operations functional area
  • Resolve issues related to loan processing, documentation, pre-closing tasks, loan servicing activities, or underwriting under the direction of management
  • Ensure compliance with Wells Fargo investor, legal, regulatory, or business policies
  • Collaborate and consult with bank departments, vendors, merchants, clients, or investors
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Lending Operations
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

  • 2+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 1+ years of Leadership experience
Desired Qualification
  • Directly manage /supervise team members - 2-3yrs of people management experience
  • Resource should possess Commercial mortgage spreading knowledge or spreading knowledge of Wholesale Loan Services
  • Drive and motivate team members to achieve / exceed the set productivity targets.
  • Support in process expansion, staffing and new hire training
  • Take a lead role in developing and implementing best practices
  • Increase effectiveness of staff and tools by recognizing opportunities for development and proactively creating new systems and structures
  • Interface and effectively communicate with India and stateside managers on production, quality and security guidelines
  • Conduct business/ performance reviews
  • Assistance on any transitions
  • To analyze and interpret complex data and create Business MIS
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, business travel (if required) & Open for lateral opportunities as per the business requirements
  • Delegate tasks, continuously learn from the environment and support peers/TMs
  • Strong accounting concepts
  • Ability to read and understand loan agreement documents
  • PG degree in the stream of commerce & management
  • Experience working in MNCs, offshore Units, (Banking sector preferred).
    Knowledge in Banking, handling Loan agreements of business clients
  • Good knowledge of accounting and corporate financial accounting system.
  • Good understanding of financial ratios and knowledge on Moody's Risk Analytics would be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge on GAAP Accounting / International Financial Reporting Standards. Ability to read & interpret financial statements.

  • Managing workload between multiple stateside teams & differing hours of operation.
Essential Qualification
