You will be responsible for being a technical full stack expert, innovator, and strategic thought leader within the Converged Infrastructure technology engineering discipline. You will lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within Enterprise Pipeline (EPL) tools and technologies. You will lead by example with a focus on key aspects of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) like Observability, Automation, Reliability, Resiliency, Scalability, Configuration Management & actionable, data driven insights. You will work with vendors and technical personnel for problem resolution and preventative measures as you make an impact by contributing to increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks and drive towards automation.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead complex, broad impact initiatives including provision of high level systems consultation for the technology teams
  • Work as key participant in large scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for Systems Operations functional area
  • Act as a platform subject matter expert within the organization with clear in-depth technical understanding of all features, functionality, and industry trends and make decisions on technical changes and enhancements
  • Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, such as alternatives, enhancements, periodic systems reviews, or improvements to existing systems
  • Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
  • Collaborate and consult with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability that influence and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of experience with VMware, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, NSX
  • 2+ years of SRE experience in developing automated solutions for operational aspects in an organization
  • 3+ years of experience in application monitoring, performance management, analysis and troubleshooting skills
Desired Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in hardware infrastructure, IT Standards, procedures, policy, configuration management, System Software infrastructure
  • 3+ years of experience working with vROPs and vRealize Suite
  • 2+ years of experience in two or more of the following tenets - Observability, Automation, Reliability, Resiliency, Scalability, Configuration Management & Actionable, Data Driven insights
  • 2+ years of experience with PowerShell (VMware PowerCLI) and Ansible
  • 2+ years of experience with Dell or HP hardware
  • 2+ years of experience with Nutanix
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile, Kanban, or Lean methodology
  • 3+ years of experience with standard industry standard performance tools and process
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $171,800.00
