About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Systems Architect for Cybersecurity Data Science.

As a member of Cyber Security Architecture, a successful candidate will develop specifications for architectural solutions and controls intended to address emerging information security threats to applications within the Wells Fargo environment and Cloud Platforms using Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI) tools.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the implementation of complex projects and initiatives that have companywide scope
  • Assist in the creation of architectural artifacts for key technology initiatives
  • Participate in the definition of future/target state technology architecture and strategy
  • Identify medium to high architectural impact projects and work with stakeholders to simplify the ask
  • Conduct complex technology and system assessments for architecture solutions
  • Communicate the companywide Architecture strategy and direction to both management and systems related teams
  • Make decisions in the development and maintenance of architectures
  • Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas
  • Ensure applications adhere to established Wells Fargo standards, policies, methodologies and industry best practices

  • 5 + years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of experience in multiple security domains like IAM, VM, AppSec, Network Security, Cloud Security and Data security
  • 5+ year designing and building data pipelines from multiple security tools into data lakes and warehouses and building security metric dashboards
  • 3+ years experience working in regulated industry such as banking.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Well versed experience and knowledge across the cybersecurity domains
  • Security Industry certification like CISSP, CISM, GIAC or equivalent in good standing
  • Cloud certifications such as AZ-900, MS-900 or equivalent/higher
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal, presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills with clear and articulate language
  • Experience with Data lakes and data pipelines. Experience with defining, fine tuning, and using AI models the collect cybersecurity data.
  • Experience with Bizzdesign Architecture Tool
  • Excellent understanding of public cloud technologies especially in GCP and Azure
  • Experience with information security technologies in different domains including IAM, Vulnerability Management, application security, network and infrastructure security, data security, secrets and key management.
  • Experience with threat assessment and modeling, risk management, and regulatory compliance in the financial industry.
  • Experience in architecting security solutions for business cases, risk mitigations and the documentation of such as reusable patterns.

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Act as an advisor to develop or influence applications, information security or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs for the Software Security product domain.
  • Translate technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives into technical engineering solutions
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and support innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization
  • Engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise
  • Create architecture specifications documents from strategic consumption as well as engineering specifications for tactical low level reference for engineering teams to drive business outcomes
  • Support Cybersecurity Data Science projects or products driven by our partners, provide strategic and architecture guidance and collaborate with teams on design and implementation of those projects or products
  • Identify gaps in security design and operational metrics. Review with stake holders and impress upon them the significance and outcomes achieved by addressing them
  • Provide architectural support for product and vendor evaluations for product and security solutions while addressing relevant security threats.
  • Collaboration with cross functional teams to identify the need for security solutions and the architectural requirements.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$111,100.00 - $237,100.00
