About this role:
- Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for Data Management and Governance project.
- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
- Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
- Design, collaborate, build and implement automated application delivery improvements to test and production environments.
- Drive the automation opportunities in build, test, deployment and release arenas encompassing various technologies and tools.
- Understand the process and technical complexities of performing application builds, testing, deployments, and releases.
- Improve and extend the existing process to a unattended delivery pipeline (Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Continuous Testing).
- Drive out technical release coordination and production preparation activities across several teams simultaneously.
- Drive accountability for adhering to security scanning standards and best practices, Drive any detected vulnerabilities to a satisfactory resolution.
- Support application releases by performing pre and post implementation tasks.
- Be a key contributor to initiatives that require technical expertise.
- Identify process and technical improvement areas and propose solution.

- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Proficient in Jenkins, UDdeploy and Harness
- Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines
- Github/bitbucket experience
- Shell scripting , Unix commands and Autosys.
- Hands on Kubernetes and Cluster management
- SDLC , release management and change management.
- Familiarity with various testing frameworks like Sonar/Selenium etc.
- Understanding of Security scan tools like Blackduck, Checkmarx etc.
- Working experience on repositories like Artifactory, jfrog etc.
- Experience with Cloud technologies like AKS , Terraform and GKS.
- Experience in SQL and RDBMS
- Agile experience and familiarity with JIRA.
- Experience in delivering complex enterprise wide information technology solutions
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
- Familiarity with using Java, Eclipse IDE, IntelliJ IDE, Maven and Spring web framework
