About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Secured Lending Underwriter who will be responsible for independently handling a variety of complex transactions, supporting the origination function by focusing on structuring and closing ABL transactions.
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Secured Lending Underwriting functional area and contribute to large-scale planning related to functional area deliverables
- Review and analyze moderately complex business challenges within Secured Lending Underwriting functional area that require an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a Secured Lending Underwriting team to meet project deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of Secured Lending Underwriting functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with Secured Lending Underwriting peers, colleagues, and middle level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Lead Secured Lending Underwriting projects and teams, or serve as a mentor to less experienced individuals

- 5+ years of Secured Lending Underwriting experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of Asset Based Lending experience
- Proven analytical skills, negotiating skills, solid organizational skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
- The ability to write a concise, properly structured, professionally prepared credit write-up in a timely manner.
- Solid business judgment, the proven ability to make decisions independently and decisively, the ability to draw on prior experience to resolve issues and good sense in knowing the limits of one's authority.
- Oriented toward a deal driven environment and be capable of managing multiple transactions simultaneously under tight time pressure.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred
- Must be able to travel with short notice. up to 15%

- This position offers a hybrid work schedule
- Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
