This individual will help the front-line in identifying, managing, assessing, and mitigating risk that could harm the organization's reputation. Engaging with CIB senior leaders and Control Partners, this role focuses on making sure the actions or inactions taken by CIB will not impact perception of the Firm's integrity or erode confidence in trust placed in the Firm by various stakeholders. Operating within the Enterprise Reputation Risk Policy which defines the requirements for the Firm, this role will seek to ensure the CIB Reputation Program remains fully aligned to these standards. Role entails reporting responsibilities, monitoring activities and collaboration with various teams across the enterprise.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize escalated matters with front-line leaders and control partners to determine business selection, including considering any reputational risk impact
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate and devise more efficient means of gathering intelligence
  • Review strategic approaches and guide deal teams in preparation for a discussion with relevant committee
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in business selection and reputation risk management within Banking, Markets, and or Commercial Real Estate
  • Experience evaluating Corporate and Investment Banking, Markets, and Commercial Real Estate transactions
  • Proven ability to effectively engage with committee comprised of senior leaders, as well as manage work to adhere to enterprise-level requirements
  • Ability to build and develop strong relationships across business leadership and control partners
  • Strong communication skills and ability to distill issue(s)
  • Strong judgment in assessing situations and determining appropriate resolutions
  • Ability to perform research and diligence
  • Ability to proactively think through program process improvements
  • Experience reporting processes to governance committees
  • Experience executing SHRP control procedures and maintaining related documentation

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$115,900.00 - $206,100.00
