About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager to join our Inter-FI and MRDC Product Team within Consumer and Small Business Banking Payments. The individual will serve as a critical contributor and leader, expected to own many responsibilities required to set and deliver strategic initiatives. All priorities must be supported by analytical analysis and adhere to applicable policies and regulations. Will lead or participate on issue management processes.

This leader must work well in a rapid-paced environment and be passionate about owning and leading change to improve the product.

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in moderately to highly complex initiatives and deliverables by utilizing data-driven, advanced analytical techniques to make actionable insights, trends, recommendations, or contribute to large-scale planning that has a broader impact
  • Deliver solutions that require consideration of trends, regulatory impact, and risk management
  • Develop business segmentation, customer profiling, benchmarking, forecasting, perform vintage analysis and create strategies
  • Support the business to understand issues impacting the product through complaints and other voice of the customer feedback using insightful analytics
  • Enable actionable insights for senior leaders through delivery of timely, executive-level communications.
  • Communicate actionable insights and recommendations using data in a digestible format to a wide variety of audiences to include non-technical audience of varying levels
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all product related initiatives
  • Work independently or with minimum supervision

  • 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired qualifications:
  • Consumer and Small Business Deposit Payment Products experience (e.g. Bank to Bank Transfer, MRDC, Zelle)
  • Strong analytical experience; ability to use data to inform business cases, road map priorities, decks, etc
  • Experience developing reporting and insights to help business decisions in various parts of the business which includes Root-cause analysis of complaints, reporting on SLAs, KRIs, trends
  • Ability to manage effectively in a matrixed organization, developing partnerships with many business and functional areas
  • Ability to manage multiple projects ranging from moderate to high complexities
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, presentation skills and communication skills
  • Experience developing Power Point materials and ability to present to Senior Leaders in a concise manner
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • RCSA and Process mapping experience
