About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Network Engineer. We would like the person to be passionate about automation and development. The Engineer will be responsible to drive the Automation culture within the organization and will automate the manual tasks that is being done as part of implementation - New switch install, Port Turn UP/Down, Rack installation etc. This position will contribute to the growing needs of the modern Network related projects, meet the time targets without taking any further risk to get behind the scheduled

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the review, resolution and implementation for the most complex technical issues and initiatives related to large scale network applications, data systems, voice and other technical products and services
  • Use and create diagnostic, simulation and other tools to maintain, troubleshoot and restore service or data to systems
  • Evaluate or review queries to extract data, create standard procedures, or perform limited programming to fine tune systems supported
  • Research performance trends and recommend process improvements
  • Perform complex migrations from development to production, upgrades, installations and configurations
  • Make decisions in security and regulatory policies to design and implement foolproof secured network solutions
  • Assess changes for risk to production systems and assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas
  • Identify gaps in current technology processes and recommend changes to assure Service Level Agreements can be supported
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Desired Qualifications:
  • Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills
    Demonstrated skill with creating and/or updating technical design documentation used by engineering teams
    Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio Professional
    Experience working in an agile environment utilizing Atlassian Jira products
    Strong understanding of the following routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP
    Bachelor's degree in Computers or Electronics with 10-12 Years of Networking Experience

    Having any of industry certificates ( CCNA, CCNP, CWSP, CWDP)

    Strong experience with Cisco/Aruba/Fortinet devices (Controllers, Cloud, Access Points, Switches, Routers, etc.), Cisco DNA Center / Prime & Aruba Airwave.

    Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols and its implementation (OSPF, BGP)

    Knowledge of authentication protocols and methods (LDAP, SSO, 2-factor authentication etc.)

    Knowledge of Linux, Python, Ansible
Job Expectations:
  • Establish the networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation and defining, documenting and enforcing Wells Fargo standards
  • Provides direct support to technical and non-technical entities in order to define requirements and deliver solutions to meet customer needs including site-to-site VPNs, remote access VPNs.
  • Knowledge of network routing protocols like BGP, OSPF and switching protocols including STP, VPC, LACP, VSF & IRF. Knowledge of access control protocols such as RADIUS / ISE / TACACS
  • Administrating and Managing of Network devices - Aruba/Cisco Switches, Aruba Wireless Infrastructure and Fortinet which includes patch management and IOS upgrades.
  • Design and implement new solutions and improve resilience of the current environment
  • Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network engineers on network optimisation
  • Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access
  • Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects
  • Upgrade network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases
  • Provide remote support to on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation
  • Provide remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation
