The Independent Testing and Validation (IT&V) group is responsible for establishing and maintaining a consolidated Enterprise Testing program at the corporate level. Independent Testing and Validation is responsible for developing a common methodology and standards, providing governance and oversight, executing testing; and conducting horizontal reviews. Testing and validation teams are responsible for implementing the Enterprise Testing methodology, standards, and executing group specific testing.

The Lead Officer will execute horizontal compliance testing and UDAAP testing. They will be responsible for executing multiple large, complex testing engagements that transcend into multiple areas within Consumer and Small Business Banking. This is an individual contributor that must act as a team lead and engagement manager to execute in all areas of testing from plan and prepare, to execution, to reporting results. Further, this leader will be the key contact for senior leaders during the execution of engagements that they are leading.
In this role, you will:
- Lead multiple engagements in a matrixed environment as an individual contributor executing high complexity review activities across business lines.
- Test SME with considerable risk and business acumen, and functional knowledge of procedures, risks, controls, compliance, testing, assessment of findings, escalation and reporting.
- Possess considerable knowledge of risk profile of engagement review's subject matter (i.e. LOB, Enterprise Function, risk program, etc.). Lead assessment of adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems, and control environment ensuring market/business/regulatory changes are incorporated.
- Responsible for determining engagement's scope and approach for engagement management approval.
- Oversee engagement execution activities and performs quality reviews, assesses and escalates findings, provides credible challenge to remedial actions, and follows through on reporting and resolution per procedural guidance.
- Lead report preparation, review, and distribution activities ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance with procedures.
- Lead internal (IT&V) and external (business partners, audit, compliance, industry risk partners, regulators, etc.) collaborative activities in support of engagement's needs.
- Build and own constructive relationships exercising effective communication behaviors supporting wide-ranging engagement review activities.
- 5+ years of Independent Testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- Experience leading complex testing engagements.
- UDAAP experience.
- Experience at Big Four / regional public accounting firm with experience in general controls, business process, regulatory, or compliance audits and/or advisory/consulting services preferred.
- Experience in Audit, Consumer Compliance and Testing experience.
- Demonstrated ability to establish strong working relationship with key partners and senior management.
- Ability to effectively communicate, verbal and written, with various levels of management, including senior leaders and executives.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability.
- Ability to summarize and recommend new strategies/solutions.
- Critical Thinking and Analytical skills.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
