About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Management Analyst who can support and perform quality control activities to mitigate the risk of internal and/or external validation failures associated with key deliverables and ensure consistent application of documentation standards to meet internal and external expectations.
In this role, you will:
- Design and conduct highly complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality - Support defining and implementation of a framework to review and validate supervisory program deliverables, reducing second line and third line validation risk and regulatory risk. Leverage industry analysis, emerging trends, and best practices to refine validation frameworks to be best in class.
- Act as an advisor - Lead review of corrective action plans, remediation strategies and planned deliverables / success criteria to identify areas of validation risk.
- Represent EDGR in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies- Define and execute validation plans for each supervisory deliverable, including the issue summary memos and related artifacts. Collaborate with use case owners to incorporate detailed requirements into validation plans.
- Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits - Enforce proper accountability for the quality of deliverables. Define and implement metrics and reporting to highlight validation progress, concentrations of validation risk and the quality of deliverables submitted from business groups / enterprise functions.
- Partner with groups to coordinate and drive collaboration - Train and support business groups and enterprise functions in the development of similar functions and processes.

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of experience with data testing and / or related Audit methodologies with an emphasis on development and execution of validation plan
- Demonstrated effectiveness in supporting development and execution of data testing approaches in support of validation efforts
- Good knowledge of internal banking processes
- Excellent understanding of audit methodology and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to effectively utilize the process and business knowledge to credibility challenge the business line's controls and make recommendations to improve the same
- Present results in an objective and unbiased manner
- Ability and zeal to build domain knowledge and overall business acumen
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills
- Ability to positively impact team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
- Ability to execute in a fast paced, demanding environment while balancing multiple priorities
- Self-motivated, Agile mindset, problem solving attitude, and good analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Ability to work the hybrid work model of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote each week
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
