About the Role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Management Analyst is to work with product owners to analyze data, identify data gaps and create requirements. The LDMA would be responsible to create data model design changes, provide transformation logics and solutions while working closely with development teams for implementation on the same. And lead a team of DM Analysts by Providing direction & guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Support data analysis of traded products across collateral margin agreement, derivatives, investment and reference data and identify data gaps.
- Analyze data variance between trial balance and other SOR (system of records) and identify the true breaks between the systems.
- The analyst will create requirements and would be responsible to propose data model design changes, provide transformation logics and solutions.
- Create dashboards and publish insights on the variance periodically.
- Understand and create data mapping and lineage
- Leading the team, among other things, lead is responsible for implementing and optimizing the processes. Involvement and contribution in Strategic discussion.
- Guiding and training the team on deliverables, analyzation and improvement of the various existing processes
- Facilitating getting the work done through cooperation and teamwork. Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
- Leading the discussions with US partners and other stakeholders to gain consensus across stakeholders and provide senior level partners with delivery of findings and recommendations
- Work with POs , Business and technology partners or subject matter professionals to document or maintain the BRD
- Assessing Risks, ensuring mitigations, escalating issues/defects & working with technology partners to research and remediate as needed
- Participate in Agile project methodology sessions, including sprint planning and sprint retrospectives.
- 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Data Management, Banking - Treasury/ Capital Market/ Investment/ Financial Risk Management
- 5+ years of experience with Data mapping, data modelling, databases and root cause analysis
- 5+ Years of experience in Python, Power BI and Tableau desired
- Financial product knowledge/exposure in one or more below:
- Derivatives (any asset class- Equities, Credit, FX, Commodities)- Listed products and/or OTC
- SFTs- Securities financing transaction- Securities borrowing/lending, repos, reverse repos, tri-party repos/rev repos
- Collateral management
- Intraday
- Good understanding of Market related reference data
- Excellent SQL/Hive skills - queries, joins, data modelling, relational DB concepts
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in working with remote teams
- Experience in Data mapping, Data Lineage, and data profiling will be added advantage
- Solid experience with MS Excel
- Experience and understanding of Agile methodology
