About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer to support Consumer Lending Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Program Oversight. The Consumer Lending RCSA team is responsible for providing oversight for the RCSA program across the entire Consumer Lending organization. This is accomplished by leading cross-program initiatives that enhance understanding, increase consistency, and ensure adherence to the RCSA Policy.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impact
  • Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional area
  • Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies
  • Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
  • Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls
  • Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
  • Lead Control Management project or virtual teams
  • Analyze Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) data and develop data insights
  • Design RCSA views to help drive business decisions and outcomes
  • Perform horizontal reviews of Risk Assessable Units (RAU) within Consumer Lending and across Wells Fargo

  • 5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Risk and Control Self Assessment and analyzing Shared Risk Platform (SHRP) Data
  • Knowledge and understanding of Control Programs including Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), executing the RCSA (risk identification, risk assessment - inherent/residual, and control design and Issue Management
  • Track record of providing constructive challenge with appropriate escalation, root cause analysis and offering solutions
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and workflow management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to distill and articulate complex concepts into simplified solutions
Job Expectations:
  • Position offers a hybrid work schedule in which you are required to work in office 3 days per week at a minimum in one of the locations listed below

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$111,100.00 - $217,200.00
