About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impact
  • Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional area
  • Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies
  • Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
  • Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls
  • Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
  • Lead Control Management project or virtual teams

  • 5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Ability to produce high-quality reports and documentation.
  • Critical thinking and Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong comprehension/ability to learn technology tools, communication & analytical skills.
  • Strong time management skills and the demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with and communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and be adaptable to changing work priorities.
  • Background in project management and/or Governance Management
  • Proficiency with MS office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI etc.
Job Expectations:
  • Work within Global Operations COO Control team, specifically for Shared Services Operations team.
  • Support with Reporting and Governance routines.
  • Contribute to control forums and provide necessary reporting (includes report & escalate issues, key risks, control gaps, corrective actions, OREs and align them to the respective onshore Risk and Control Committees/ MBRs/Other forums)
  • Facilitate leadership meetings, management routines, reviews and initiatives required for successful execution.
  • Interact with stakeholders to understand and analyze various projects initiatives, develop plan, and execute.
  • Develop and provide data driven insights to leadership for information and decision making.
  • Work on horizontal initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement change.
  • Be a dynamic Individual contributor & demonstrate the multi-tasking capabilities.
