About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Compliance Officer to support CSBB Compliance engagement in Customer Remediations, Customer Redress and Issue Management. The role will work directly with the CSBB Business partners and CSBB Compliance Senior Leaders.
In this role, you will:
- BACO responsible for coordinating all Business Aligned Compliance Officer Engagement for Customer Remediations.
- Identify new Customer Remediations impacting CSBB and assign to Business Aligned Compliance Officer.
- Review and approve Business Aligned Compliance Officer documentation for engagement in Remediation for all Checkpoints requiring Compliance Oversight throughout Remediations lifecycle for Tier 2&3 Remediations.
- Work with Business Aligned Compliance Officers supporting Risk Accessible Units (RAU) to ensure risks for Customer Remediations and Customer Redress are properly captured at the RAU and the proper controls are aligned to mitigate the risk; Participate in RCSA Annual activities for aligned RAU.
- Oversight of CSBB Front Line Compliance risk related the CSBB Customer Redress Program.
- Liaise with Enterprise Customer Redress Office and CSBB Customer Redress on behalf of CSBB BACOs.
- Serve as Point of Contact for the Compliance Issue Management and Escalations program on behalf of CSBB Compliance.
- Conducts Monitoring for CSBB Remediations, CSBB Issue Management, and CSBB Customer Redress as required by Policy/Procedures.
- Provide oversight and monitoring of business group risk based compliance programs
- Maintain compliance risk expertise and consulting for projects and initiatives with moderate to high risk, over multiple business lines
- Establish, implement and maintain risk standards and programs to drive compliance with federal, state, agency, legal and regulatory and Corporate Policy requirements
- Oversee the Front Line's execution and challenges appropriately on compliance related decisions
- Develop, oversee, and provide independent credible challenge to standards with subject matter expertise
- Provide direction to the business on developing corrective action plans and effectively managing regulatory change
- Report findings and make recommendations to management and appropriate committees
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Monitor the reporting, escalation, and timely remediation of issues, deficiencies or regulatory matters regarding compliance risk management
- Oversee the Front Line's execution and challenges appropriately on compliance related decisions
- Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
- Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Work with complex business units, rules and regulations on moderate to high risk compliance matters
- Interface with Audit, Legal, external agencies, and regulatory bodies on risk related topics

- 5+ years of Compliance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Ability to influence all levels of professionals and managers to obtain the best solutions.
- Experience supporting Customer Complaints, Issue Management and Customer Remediation
- Experience collaborating and building relationships across multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholder groups
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner across all levels of the organization.
- Strong presentation skills, creating PowerPoints with varying levels of information
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
- Solution-oriented mindset with experience developing process improvement strategies.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
