About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Candidates with Commercial Banking, Investment Banking experience
  • Product Manager, Product Owner, BA, Product Specialist, Project Management.
  • Moderate knowledge in SQL queries. Knowledge in Any programming (C, C++, Java, .NET. Python), Agile methodology, SDLC.
  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
  • Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
  • Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management
  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff
  • Ability to think strategically, implement, and deliver business objectives.
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience with hands on experience creating requirements documentation, user stories, process flow diagrams, and wireframes.
  • Experience in the financial / banking industry (experience in commercial banking and asset-based lending preferred)
  • Experience working directly with end users to collect information and requirements.
  • Hybrid Working model: 3:2 (3 days mandate work from office)
  • Product Management experience, product development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following.
  • Experience in SQL query, techno functional skills.
  • Experience with Banking, Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting data platforms and technologies.
  • Broad experience with Banking applications, products, technology architecture and systems integration experience in consumer and small business banking, consumer lending, commercial banking and wealth and investment management
  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment, including internationally.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) skills

  • Experience working in an agile software development environment.
  • Strong experience in problem solving.
  • Strong experience working with end users to solicit requirements and current state analysis.
  • Expert in Agile user story writing / creation - ability to create detailed user stories from the perspective of the user while detailing all requirements in acceptance criteria.
  • Process Flow diagram experience.
  • Creation of low fidelity wireframes
  • Able to understand complex business situations and problems.
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skill
  • Ability to work closely with end users in the United States

  • PSPO/ CSPO Certifications.
  • Previous experience with Distribution Finance/Global Receivable Trade/Capital Finance/AIMS would be great, but I know will be hard to find.
  • QA texting experience with Java strongly desired, especially if done on an internal or external web-based application (if someone has both Java and COBOL, that would be exceptional)
  • User experience and/or agile experience with story writing desired.
  • Scrum master experience could also be considered if above experience cannot be found.
  • Experience with internal business software applications desired (i.e., finance, billing, collections, underwriting)
  • Financial services experience desired but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Experience working in an agile software development environment.
  • Strong experience in problem solving.
  • Strong experience working with end users to solicit requirements and current state analysis.

Job Expectations:
  • Gathering information from stakeholders, customers, and users to understand functional goals.
  • Prioritizing product features based on what is feasible to do and what is desired.
  • Leading Sprint planning meetings.
  • Receiving and providing feedback during Sprints.
  • Making decisions to solve problems (team backlog) that occur during development.
  • Accepting user stories.
  • Assessing developing versions of the product to recommend adjustments.
  • Collaborating with the development team throughout the process
  • Overseeing product-related market research, sales, and marketing for the product.
  • Working directly with system end users within the business to understand their needs for a solution.
  • At least 4 working hours overlap with US (many of the business teams they get inputs from will be in the US).
  • Developing a deep level knowledge and understanding of both the business and the technology products supported.
  • Carefully documenting both current state and future state through a combination of process flow diagrams, logic diagrams, and narrative agile user stories.
  • Envisioning and creating low fidelity wireframes to illustrate application flow, user experience, and functionality.
  • Designing effective business solutions to business problems and translating this into technology requirements.
  • Working closely with system end users to validate requirements, test and confirm functionality created, and validate that implemented solutions have met the business needs.
  • Partnership with technology for the appropriate grooming of user stories, ensuring a complete understanding of the needed capabilities, and validating completed designs.
  • Partnership with other Product Owners, Business Analysts from both within the product and other products to ensure holistic solutions are achieved for initiatives that are across multiple products.
  • Identification, analysis, and reporting of key metrics and business case level financials to justify impact of projects.
  • Data analysis (using SQL statements against a SQL database) to understand current data to properly understand historical usage, data types, etc.
  • Shift timing: 1.30 PM - 10.30 PM IST.
