Strategic Enterprise Risk Management (SERM), part of independent risk management, is primarily responsible for leading enterprise risk programs, governance, and infrastructure. The function provides an aggregated, integrated, and holistic view and understanding of Wells Fargo's combined risks and helps the company address those risks.

The Strategy, Planning and Governance (SPG) team leads cross-organizational efforts and provides centralized support to Strategic Enterprise Risk Management (SERM). The COO team is responsible for expense management, space management, talent management and engagement, policy management, strategic planning, business process management, and the overall administration of the SERM function including developing strategies and overseeing plans to ensure adherence and compliance with policies, guidelines, and assessments.

In this role, you will:

As a part of the SPG team supporting Strategic Enterprise Risk Management ("SERM"), the successful candidate will contribute to managing and supporting a broad, diverse team, while incorporating a strategic, detail-oriented, and flexible approach. Specific responsibilities of this role will include:
  • Coordinate and execute the full lifecycle of workforce management for group of 275 people in US & India, including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, professional development initiatives, etc.
  • Function as primary liaison between SERM and key enterprise including Recruiting, Human Resources, RiskBOLT, Corporate Properties Group, etc.
  • Serve as the primary COO liaison between SERM US and India Partners.
  • Track and reconcile monthly headcount resources from a budgeting perspective. Coordinate with Finance to update monthly headcount projections and budget impacts.
  • Function as resource for policy adherence, particularly related to T&E and other operating policies.
  • Coordinate the execution of assigned COO activities in US strategic office locations where SERM operates.
  • Partner with OC+1, OC+2 and OC+3 leaders to execute key business strategies and support outstanding team member experience via support of employee engagement efforts, as needed.
  • Support Strategy & Planning activities and broad initiatives including operations, facilities, personnel and move-the-lines initiatives.
  • Prepare analysis, reporting and presentations that support COO initiatives, as needed.
  • Other special projects that contribute to the effective ongoing management of the SERM team.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of project management experience within a Chief Operating Office (COO) role
  • Previous workforce management or talent management experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to manage to firm deadlines
  • Ability to recognize and meet the needs of business teams
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional business partners and teams
  • Superior organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently but seek direction when appropriate

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $171,800.00
