We are seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join our Strategy and Solutions team to support the Business Consulting function. This function provides business consulting and enablement services to the Operational Excellence leadership team.

In this role, you will:
  • Provide program leadership/support for large complex initiatives to ensure success and sustainability. Lead workstream teams to ensure daily execution and overall results track to sponsor goals.
  • Consult with leadership to assess program needs, discuss gaps, and advise on the sequencing and organization of work to achieve program goals.
  • Build sustainable program frameworks including project plans; roles and responsibilities; programs forums and councils; data management; reporting routines; stakeholder management plans; communication plans; etc.
  • Identify potential risks when implementing change, develop mitigation strategies and plans.
  • Develop strategic concepts through the entire concept lifecycle - initial exploration, strategic design, socialization, concept approval and funding, program design, and program launch - and where necessary, provide program leadership through implementation.
  • Develop Operational Excellence related materials for executive audiences such as the Operating Committee, Board of Directors and associated committees, Regulators, and other Wells Fargo leadership.
  • Provide strategic execution consulting services to Operational Excellence leadership.
  • Identify and analyze transformation opportunities within Operations.
  • Support Operational Excellence with ongoing business routines.
  • Act as the thought partner/leader to Operational Excellence leadership.
  • Lead both planned and ad hoc strategic analyses.
  • Lead ad-hoc key initiatives for Operational Excellence from ideation to implementation.
    • Lead through influence, often without direct authority, persuading through use of data and facts.
    • Adjust and adapt to the rolling, day-to-day changes that transpire in the running of programs/initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Experience working closely with senior and executive leadership.
  • Possesses executive presence, high energy, ability to manage complexity and a broad scope of daily work activities and stakeholders.
  • Significant experience designing and leading large-scale cross-enterprise programs.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, combined with strategic business focus and vision.
  • Superior business consulting and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to both think strategically and act tactically.
  • Ability to create a strong collaborative work environment to successfully develop partnerships.
  • Ability to manage effectively within a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Ability to present and discuss information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels.
  • Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
  • Facilitation skills, including ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities.
  • Management consulting experience with a top tier firm.
  • Ability to strategically review situations and diagnose opportunities and interventions.
  • Ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $171,800.00
