In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives.
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate.
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance.
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations.
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans.
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group.

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Experience with Risk Control Framework and Governance
  • Experience with ITIL framework and COBIT framework
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology software/hardware and the asset management life cycle(s), configuration management, change and release management, service and availability management, incident and problem management, and service desk.
  • Knowledge and understanding of configuration management solutions for information security and compliance controls.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change.
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives.

Job Expectations:

IT Service Operations (ITSO) has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Business Execution Consultant in our ITSO Governance team. This role requires exceptionally strong analytical skills, direct work experience in developing ways to assess immature environments, leading initiatives that are larger in scope and complexity and providing recommendations on methodologies, practices, and processes to improve their maturity. Drives accountability for assigned initiatives between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved through control sustainability. Provides technical assistance through quality assurance review activities associated with the ongoing design/performance testing of controls that meet business requirements. Responsible for organizing, leading, and facilitating quality assurance review activities associated with control evaluation activities. Leads quality assurance reviews of completed control evaluation activities to ensure control performance was achieved and is evidenced through the supporting artifacts of the evaluation. Facilitates quality assurance reviews and validation of control evaluation work papers to ensure that the work product meets internal evaluation requirements and standards. Focus on the identification of risks, controls, and efforts to remediate gaps as part of the quality assurance review activities. Initiates and leads efforts to develop innovative solutions to unique and/or complex business challenges. Solutions typically require coordination across the business as well as some coordination with other businesses, including multiple systems, or systems not directly controlled by the business. Works independently and with peer group to resolve questions, assess user needs, and confirms business processes and controls are in alignment with established policies and frameworks. Educates others about control strategy and approach for how controls are to be tested and supporting artifacts maintained. Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups to ensure controls are being evaluated ongoing and that evaluation results support ongoing sustainment. Influence, guide and lead less experienced staff within the group.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $171,800.00
