About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Accountability specialist - Technical to support Consumer, Small & Business Banking's (CSBB) Policy Management, Regulatory Change Management, Compliance Risk and other Risk Management programs. This role will be a member of the CSBB Risk Transformation & Governance (RT&G) team in India providing Policy Monitoring and reporting monitoring support across these programs and relevant geographies through development and build-out tools and automations enabling efficient, consistent, and data driven analysis.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives with broad impact which are designed to mitigate current and emerging business risk issues and concerns; act as key participant in large-scale, cross-functional planning for the business
- Assess, analyze, and design complex and multi-faceted controls, protocols, and approaches with respect to risk mitigation and the control environment, including ensuring effective planning for sustainability, ongoing control adherence, reporting, measurement, technology impacts, and monitoring
- Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business's functional area or products, operations, and regulatory environment; facilitate decision-making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans; influence and lead key business partners to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid to senior-level managers to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in interpreting, developing, and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
- Act as liaison for the business with external parties to support timeliness, appropriate response strategy, and effectiveness of communications and materials
- May lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

- 5+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Be on the leading edge of Technology with a passion for the newest and most innovative tools. The candidate is expected to possess strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities in addition to team collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Successful in fast-paced and entrepreneurial environments where the candidate will be handling multiple concurrent projects while working independently and in teams.
- 8+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both; Preferably experience with financial institution on reporting and analytics function
- 3+ years of experience in developing and creating BI dashboards using Power BI, Power Apps/Power Automate, working on end-to-end reports, deriving insights from data
- Strong hands on knowledge of SQL/ advanced SQL , Database, Excel, and Python.
- Responsible for senior level consulting partnerships including delivery of findings and recommendations to the Risk transformation programs involving Policy, Controls, Issues using the datasets and developed tools.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
