About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Bankruptcy Processor as part of Consumer Lending. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.

In this role, you will:
  • Support performance and overall effectiveness of team
  • Provide experienced guidance and decision making to resolve complex, high-risk issues
  • Provide assistance on policies and procedures to team
  • Lead Bankruptcy team on complex high-risk accounts with planning, evaluation, and interpretation with regards to bankruptcy, foreclosure and repossession
  • Prioritize distribution of work and provide daily leadership to Bankruptcy team
  • Lead team to adhere to bankruptcy code, policies, procedures and local, state and federal regulations
  • Lead and provide subject matter expertise to individuals in complex situations on wide range of information relating to bankruptcy, foreclosure and repossession
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of Loss Prevention, Bankruptcy or Customer Service experience in the financial industry, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong Leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring
  • Desire to perform with attention to detail and high quality of work
  • Hands on Bankruptcy experience and knowledge
  • Experience servicing/operations within one or more of the following business lines: ODCR, Cards, Retail, Small Business, PL
  • Reliable, honest and trustworthy
Job Expectations:
  • Work schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am -3:30 pm with some flexibility. Hybrid schedule in office rotation B.
  • Side by side training
