About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Institutional Investment Operations Specialist in FX Investigations as a part of Corporate Investment Banking. The Institutional Investment Operations Specialist will be responsible for the management of Risk, Service Quality and Process Improvement working closely with the FX Business, FX Operations, Technology, Process Review & Enhancement (PRE) and the Product & Strategic Delivery teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Ownership of a portfolio of FX Investigation cases requiring investigation, follow up and follow through to resolution.
  • Day to day management of risk ensuring the overall number of allocated cases are kept at acceptable tolerances and higher risk items (e.g. large dollar amounts, debits and/or aged breaks) are resolved quickly.
  • Managing clients' cases to ensure that issues are resolved quickly to the client's benefit with specific attention to key relationships.
  • Performing root cause analysis that leads to recommendations for process improvements that mitigate risk, enhance client experience, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Working closely with the FX investigations QA manager to identify PEGA enhancements and other system/process improvements.
  • Maintenance of all Open Text procedures, making updates where necessary ensuring the publisher is kept updated as required.
  • Demonstrating strong team player competencies especially when supporting the on boarding of new investigators and helping to ensure they are trained to become quickly productive.

  • 2+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 2+ years plus experience in Operations
  • Experience in FX Wires Operations and/or FX Investigations
  • Degree in Finance, Management, Accounting and/or Economics
  • Strong Business Writing and Communication Skills
Job Expectations:
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule
  • Candidates must be willing to work additional hours as needed
  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
