Home Lending Subservicing Oversight Senior Manager

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a seasoned home lending servicing leader with experience working with subservicing relationships and oversight.

In this role, you will:

  • Implement a comprehensive and robust subservicing oversight program fit to meet servicing expectations of the company and associated risks.
  • Lead the front-line operational business execution within mortgage servicing to design and execute the subservicing oversight and testing functions.
  • Manage and develop a team of Business Execution Consultants while ensuring successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity and visibility
  • Provide strategic, long-term, risk compliant solutions to complex business challenges as it applies to a sub servicer to ensure long term value and sustainability.
  • Lead a Risk Assessable Unit (RAU) within the RCSA risk management framework dedicated to the risks and controls necessary for sub servicer oversight.
  • Become industry aware, and work to gain knowledge to successfully leverage industry best-practices and identify practices to avoid.
  • Partner with leaders and other executives, and third parties to implement and execute on the oversight program.
  • Provide routine updates and presentations to executive leaders and other internal/external stakeholders.
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for subservicing, including forecasts and capability plans.
  • Lead a team of direct reports, including teams matrixed to support the program located in peers' organizations.
Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of Management experience
  • 5+ years of Mortgage servicing experience, including at least two years working with a subservicing relationship.
  • Experience working in a third-party oversight program\
  • Experience working with Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) risk management program
  • Experience working with state, federal, and investor / insurer requirements.
  • Experience designing and implementing effective controls
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
