About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a global leader for Global Trade and Supply Chain Finance Operations. This leader will report to the head of Commercial Banking Operations. This leader will work closely with the head of Commercial Banking Operations as well as the Commercial Banking Operations leadership team, and the head of Supply Chain and Trade Finance in Commercial Banking to deliver on operations services in support of the Commercial Trade, Standby Letters of Credit (LC) and Supply Chain Finance products and clients.

  • Direct management of leaders responsible for all Commercial Trade, Standby LC and Supply Chain Finance Operations
  • Collaboration and partnership with Head of Supply Chain and Trade Finance business on product strategy and end-to-end improvements across the products, including growing the business and engaging in new product development
  • Drive transformation across Commercial Trade, Standby LC and Supply Chain Finance Operations, working closely with Product and Technology for solutions to streamline and automate processes
  • Lead risk management and execution globally across Commercial Trade, Standby LC and Supply Chain Finance Operations.
  • Foster strategic relationships across Supply Chain and Trade Finance, Commercial Banking, COO and the enterprise in order to share best practices, influence decision-making and ensure efficiencies
  • Continued pursuit of opportunities to enhance automation and straight through processing to deliver continued efficiencies in process and client experience
  • Partner with support groups (i.e., Finance, Risk, Compliance, Control, etc.) to ensure smooth integration and meeting ongoing business needs
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Operations
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in Trade and Supply Chain Finance operations and products
  • Strong communication skills, with proven experience presenting solutions to Operating Committee executives
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering or equivalent
  • Proven ability in partnering, collaborating, and building relationships with a breadth of stakeholders, including line of business and functional leaders across a complex, matrixed environment
  • Track record of driving transformational change with the ability to execute large complex initiatives in a large matrixed corporate environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage highly complex organizations and processes
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in AML and Financial Crimes, along with Operational Risk
  • Partnership approach to responsibilities, including ability to effectively lead (directly or indirectly) initiatives across lines of business, peers, partners, and key stakeholder
  • Ability to think proactively about business and issues
  • Strong track record of delivering results including demonstrated project and initiatives management and execution as well as sound decision-making approach to complex problems
  • Ability to add structure to complex problems to drive solutions
  • Excellent analytical and data management skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and projects effectively for timely delivery
Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
