About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex technology Cloud initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact.
- Act as a key contributor in automating the provisioning of Cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure as a Code.
- Make decisions in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering and large-scale technology solutions. Design, Optimization and Documentation of the Engineering aspects of the Cloud platform.
- Understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions in Cloud for strategic business objectives and solving technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple parameters, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors.
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals.
- Build and Enable cloud infrastructure, automate the orchestration of the entire Azure/GCP Cloud Platforms for Wells Fargo Enterprise.
- Working in a globally distributed team to provide innovative and robust Cloud centric solutions.
- Closely working with Product Team and Vendors to develop and deploy Cloud services to meet customer expectations

- Overall 7+ years of experience, 3+ years working with GCP and a proven track record for the below mentioned skills.
- Experience working in Agile environment and product backlog grooming against ongoing engineering work
- Enterprise Change Management and change control, experience working within procedural and process driven environment
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tool Terraform and GitHub, understanding of concepts and familiarity working within modern IaC pipelines
- Must have professional cloud certification on Azure/GCP.
- Sound knowledge on the following areas with an expertise on the following -
- Ability to design, develop, and implement large scale/complex software applications using GCP data services
- Should have hands on experience in using GCP service like (Key management system, Secret and certificate management, Cloud Data loss prevention services)
- Strong Hands on experience in terraform module development.
- Hands on experience in Crypto Key management system, Key life cycle management, Cryptography hash algorithms.
- Strong experience in GCP DLP (De-identify sensitive data, data profiling, creation and maintenance of inspect template, schedule job triggers)
- Sound knowledge of DevOps and SDLC for data Engineering, CI/CD concepts, GitHub, branching strategies
- Good to have knowledge of Cloud Security
- Should be a quick learner and team player
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and business audiences
- Ability to deliver & engage with partners effectively in a multi-cultural environment by demonstrating co-ownership & accountability in a matrix structure.
- Delivery focus and willingness to work in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
