About this role:

Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network is the firm's independent advisor offering and part of the Independent Solutions business of Wells Fargo. The FiNet Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant position will focus on providing a positive change experience for the independent advisors at FiNet and impacted home office teams. This team lead position will coordinate change project work across the operational and product departments of Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) and Independent Solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a team of field facing project consultants through a variety of continuous FiNet practice change dynamics; providing consulting and operationalizing practice mergers, advisor split offs, advisor retirements, associate and advisor role changes, advisor life events and disaffiliations/ offboarding
  • Organize and assist in service control procedures and implementation
  • Provide continuity and retirement consulting to FiNet advisors and their teams while interacting with third party providers and exit planning specialty firms
  • Work closely with Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) product areas, technology, supervision, risk management and independent solutions
  • Balance the unique dynamic of providing operational service coupled with advisor facing relationship management
  • Act as a Business Execution advisor to leadership to drive performance and initiatives, and develop and implement information delivery or presentations to key stakeholders and senior management
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large scale solutions
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale and cross organizational
  • Lead team meetings or steering committee to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership
  • Provide direction to a cross functional team using business expertise

  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5+ years working for Independent Broker Dealer and or Full-Service Broker Dealer in area of advisor service, operational support, relationship and risk management.
  • Series 7, 63, 65
  • Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals.
  • Ability to effectively assess stakeholder, partner, or client needs while consulting, building solutions, and developing processes.
  • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management.
  • Demonstrated experience fostering partnerships, promoting teamwork, and influencing others.
  • Sound critical thinking skills combined with strategic business focus.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    Significant prior experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to work at least three days a week in office at posted location.
