About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Financial Advisor Recruiting Director to lead and manage a team of experienced Financial Advisor (FA) recruiters. This individual will be responsible for driving the growth of experienced financial advisors across multiple channels, including our brokerage, bank, and independent channel. The ideal candidate will establish and maintain strong partnerships with corporate stakeholders, field leaders, and advisors to achieve recruiting goals that align with overall business strategies.
In this role, you will:
- Focus on achieving market or business segment growth and financial objectives while also ensuring adherence to compliance regulations and policies
- Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and provide Business Growth Strategy expertise to experienced management and product groups to ensure focus, resource and investment allocation, and implementation of effective business strategies
- Lead a Business Growth Strategy team by making strategic decisions to attain business segment growth and financial objectives
- Manage and develop overall strategic development, implementation, and management of multiple large or complex market segments, including multicultural markets critical to companywide objectives
- Ensure the work is accomplished through experienced managers
- Collaborate and consult with Business Growth Strategy peers, colleagues, consultants, and managers to monitor development of strategic initiatives for business development
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Growth Strategy
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of Management experience
- FINRA Series 7
- Registration for FINRA Series 24 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
- Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
- Experience successfully collaborating with others in a change driven environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Leadership experience including mentoring and coaching
- Sales and marketing leadership experience
- Ability to develop and execute market strategies and goals
- Proven success as a strategically focused recruiting leader and/or individual contributor
- Exhibit an enthusiastic leadership style, driven and results oriented
- Registration for FINRA Series 24 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
- Travel up to 50% of the time to meet with employees and clients
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
- Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position
- Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory
