We are hiring for a position in EGS Delivery in India. EGS stands for Wells Fargo's Enterprise Global Services. We are a critical component of the Wells Fargo strategy to leverage distinct advantages of a global environment. Legally, we are known as Wells Fargo (EGS) India Solutions . Currently we are 12000+ strong team members with 3 locations ( Chennai ,Bangalore and Hyderabad) in India and 1 center in Manila
CPG Accounts Payable (AP) handles all aspects of payments for goods and services to both internal and external vendors in accordance to applicable regulations and corporate policies. The payment processes include: non-purchase order invoices and work order invoice payments for Corporate Properties Group.

In this role, you will:
- Provide consultation to more experienced leadership for financial accounting related matters
- Perform complex activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts, developing financial statements and regulatory reports
- Gather and review financial data for financial and regulatory reports
- Review data from the general ledger, unit reports and various financial systems to ensure accuracy
- Prepare and review account reconciliations and certifications
- Analyze projects relating to financial accounting procedures, methods or systems
- Perform ongoing financial control functions in accordance with internal controls policies
- Provide functional advice and training to individuals
- Provide support for compliance and risk management requirements
- Collaborate and consult with stakeholders throughout the enterprise
- 2+ years of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting or Risk Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience in account payable or/and accounting operations
- Education Qualification: Graduation (preferably BCOM) and/or MBA
- Strong in analysis, decision-making and problem solving skill
- In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain Management (P2P) practice
- Attention to detail.
- Written communication: clear, concise and appropriate use of grammar
- Should be able to look at the invoice to determine next steps
- Follow procedures and escalate issues appropriately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and experience in Managing LOB expectation in line with the business need.
- Proficiency in excel.
- Accounts payable processing: Process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and provide other operational support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization
- Obtain proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments
- Knowledge in Market Data related invoices (Bloomberg), Telecom invoices and exceptions
- Assemble invoices to be completed for payments.
- Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable),
- Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
- Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers
- Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files
- Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amounts and coding per accounting policies and procedures.
