About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Distributed Infrastructure Product Owner (Senior Lead Digital Product Manager) in Technology as part of the Chief Technology Office (CTO). The selected Product Owner will have proven technical and leadership skills in large enterprise Distributed Computing environments to collaborate with the Product Managers on the overall product intention map, working closely with engineering to deliver modern capabilities in Distributed Computing. This new team member will facilitate the prioritization of a clearly understood product area backlog aligned to product area vision and goals. Including coordinating with other product owners in service of the customer experience. Establishing, communicating, and monitoring product-area goals and performance indicators related to customer experience for service provisioning.

In this role, you will:
  • Act as an advisor to Product Owners to develop or influence digital products, initiatives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs across a functional area within the Digital environment
  • Lead the strategy and resolution to define Service Level Objects within your Product Area across multiple areas or the enterprise to measure and publish performance against those SLOs
  • Deliver solutions for product vison and Voice of Customer into actionable user stories that are long-term, enumerate technical requirements, require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking while keeping in line with UX, and arrange product backlog
  • Coordinate highly complex activities with other product owners and managers for the overall product intention map, throughout the product lifecycle
  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have significant impact
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise
  • Serve as an expert advisor to leadership, to identify and resolve sequencing and prioritization conflicts across products and product areas
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience participating in teams in an Agile framework setting
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Persuasive communication skills with comfort in speaking with business stakeholders
  • Effective in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, trust
  • Knowledge and understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures applying Agile framework within an Infrastructure focused role
  • Experience in backlog development (e.g., prioritization and grooming, authoring stories)
  • Knowledge and understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a Distributed Compute environment, with success in applying Product Operating Model concepts
  • Fluency with Distributed Compute technology concepts, especially including modern technology architectures and emerging technologies (such as GPU computing)
  • Understanding and knowledge of various internal roles (both business and technology) and how they interact with their product
  • Ability to influence decisions within the business function
  • Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams from tech, design, and business
  • Effective problem solver with ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution and progress
  • Strategic thinker capable of envisioning the future of the product
  • Experience with a healthy backlog of Jira items that are linked appropriately (Story → Feature → Epic)

  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to travel 20%

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$120,400.00 - $287,600.00
