This role serves as a critical function to ensuring accuracy and driving intended outcomes within our Data products. The Data Product Manager will serve as coach and captain for a team tasked with setting test strategies, generating test data, and driving test execution for CDP's largest data use cases. In order to do so, the Data Product Manager will assist in identifying Data Testing Capability and Standardized methodology opportunities, defining and driving roadmaps to drive maturation of the function, and provide leadership a geographically dispersed team of talent.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage Testing as a Product, recognizing that Testing is both a function and a capability.
  • Be a steward of, and contributor to Data Testing Product Strategy.
  • Be responsible for understanding and driving towards the Testing Product strategy to achieve Organizational goals and OKRs.
  • Help establish delivery priorities (features) at the Program Increment (PI) level that reflect the technical needs/maturity of the Testing Product and the business priorities communicated by the Product Director.
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers including business, risk partners, and technical staff within Enterprise Data Management and Technology to achieve business goals while maximizing product utilization and value.
  • Manage and develop a team of individual contributors who are tasked to execute against the data product strategy and supporting roadmaps.
  • Ensure that activities performed across scrum teams are in sync, complementary, and collectively support the strategy and architecture of the product.
  • Perform reviews of team created deliverables such as testing scope and test plans, test design and test cases.
  • Provide guidance to the team on best practices, methods, and tools to support and design innovative data products enabling data availability for data intelligence, analytics, and reporting.
  • Assist Analysts and Product Owners in identifying and understanding potential trends, risks, and issues.
  • Proactively communicate roadblocks, problems and potential solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences at various levels (Executive, Peer, and Direct Report Audiences).
  • Create and maintain repeatable mechanisms to consistently measure and report on relevant team Operational and Delivery metrics.
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in data, and ability to understand and leverage various data mining techniques to understand data behaviors.
  • 2+ years applied SQL experience
  • Experience with Hadoop, MapR, Teradata, and/or Mongo
  • Experience leading Testing Functions in large scale consumer data
  • Experience developing standardized testing strategies and testing automation capabilities
  • Experience in designing and executing scenario based end-to-end test strategies
  • Experience leading and empowering global teams
  • Experience with IceDQ or similar test automation capability
  • Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools
  • Experience in an Agile development environment
  • Analytical mindset; Ability to identify and solution problems
  • Executive presentation & communication skills
Job Expectations:
  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening.
  • This role offers a hybrid work schedule and expects Minimum 3 days in office each week.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$111,100.00 - $237,100.00
