The Corporate Banking Associate will be responsible for supporting the relationship management of a broad portfolio of US-based subsidiaries of a diverse group of companies headquartered outside of the US. The Associate as part of MNC will work in tandem with the Global Corporate Banking teams primarily based in London, Frankfurt and Dublin to provide comprehensive coverage of internationally headquartered Corporate Banking clients.

This role will support Corporate Banking Relationship Managers who are responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with a broad range of corporate clients and delivering the full platform of Wells Fargo's capabilities. This position requires an Associate that is capable of supporting senior Relationship Managers with driving the business and developing complex relationships. The successful candidate should have a proven ability to develop internal and external relationships and have some relevant corporate banking experience. Large Corporate sector experience and knowledge of Treasury Management are a plus.

In this role, you will:
  • Support the development and ongoing management of relationships with the most important and financially complex clients
  • Support the management of existing client relationships through the ongoing monitoring of industry trends, market activity, company news, and financial performance
  • Support Relationship Managers on opportunities for new revenue generation through creation of client tear sheets, senior management briefing memos, pitch books, and returns analysis
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, internal partners and stakeholders to deliver the full suite of WF products and services including, but not limited to credit, treasury management, macro solutions, global receivables & trade, capital markets, and ABF
  • Manage direct client interaction, including directing and coordinating execution of transactions with key product partners
  • Present recommendations for growing and maintaining a portfolio of profitable clients in through pro-active, strategic and consistent business development and client retention
  • Represent the bank in developing and maintaining relationships with smaller or less complex clients
  • Initiate and maintain strategic dialogue with clients and prospects
  • Provide support to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in Corporate & Investment Banking or Mid-Corporate Commercial Banking
  • High level of initiative and accountability
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong credit, accounting and technical skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Demonstrated excellence in working effectively as an individual and as part of a team
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to act with integrity, good character and exercise sound judgement
  • 10-15% domestic travel will be encouraged
Job Expectations:
  • Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
  • Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.

Associate 1: $100,000

Associate 2: $105,000
