Wells Fargo is seeking a Corporate Accounting Engine Transformation Lead to support transformation initiatives for the Corporate Accounting Engine platform. The role focuses on documenting high quality accounting requirements and partnering with technology leads, Group controllers to re-build an efficient and scalable accounting engine system. The role leads various stakeholders through the planning, analysis, and implementation phases of each initiative.
In this role, you will:
- Act as a liaison between IT and finance/accounting (Group controllers) functions.
- Lead deep dive work sessions with accounting domain partners and document high quality accounting requirements
- Partner with technology leads across the General Ledger ecosystem to align accounting requirements to build an efficient and scalable accounting engine system
- Support development of the Corporate Accounting product roadmaps, prioritization of epics, features, and user stories
- Build test strategies and plans. Write and execute test scripts.
- Communicate practices and procedures for proper financial control functions in accordance with the company's internal controls policies
- Provide work guidance or mentorship to peers or junior members of the team
- Apply extensive specialized knowledge and act as an internal consultant or final authority in area of expertise
- Lead implementation of the most complex projects or initiatives impacting multiple lines of business or across the enterprise
- Identify compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and works with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
- Provide strategic consultation to leadership
- Support business as usual changes from line of business accounting teams.

- 5+ years of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting or Risk Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience with computer-based accounting systems
- Experience building large scale financial banking system implementations
- Good understanding of multi-currency enabled General ledger Eco systems
- Strong understanding of "generally accepted accounting principles"
- Experience using big data/Cloud/query data tools.
- Ability to build business relationships with multiple stakeholder groups in accounting and technology
- Strong written, analysis and oral communication skills, with ability to communicate with various levels within the organization
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
