About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a managing director level Senior Relationship Manager to join their CIB Senior Relationship Management team in Wells Fargo's Markets division.

In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for overall senior relationship connectivity, development, and sponsorship with Wells Fargo's leading strategic client relationships with traditional and alternative asset managers
  • Engage in regular communications with the core coverage and Leadership teams across CIB and broader Wells Fargo organizations
  • Work closely with internal partners to understand each respective area's strengths, value propositions and areas of development to represent those differentiated capabilities to our clients
  • Represent and advocate for their clients' particular needs and interests within the overall Wells Fargo organization and share objective assessments of future business opportunities internally
  • Develop strong relationships to create sustainable economic value for Wells Fargo by delivering solutions through product capabilities and cross-platform collaboration
  • Consistently meet and exceed client expectations, and be viewed as a trusted advisor to C-Suite and senior management
  • Connect senior management of Wells Fargo to client leadership to broaden the strategic firm-to-firm relationship

  • 10+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of institutional capital markets experience in sales, trading, portfolio management, relationship management or investment banking with a minimum of 5 years of institutional relationship management coverage experience with large and complex traditional and alternative asset managers
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Deep understanding of asset management industry, critical functions and services
  • Proven track record of client development and retention
  • Willingness to provide list of references from large traditional and alternative asset managers
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to build internal team member support and consensus, navigate complicated organizations and marshal required resources
  • Strong communication, marketing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • You are enthusiastic, self-motivated, and are a positive role model for others
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 20% or as needed
  • Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 90 days of hire date. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$207,900.00 - $431,900.00
