The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) delivers a comprehensive suite of banking, capital markets and advisory solutions, including a full complement of sales, trading and research capabilities, to corporate, government and institutional clients. The CIB Innovation team, aligned within the CIB Chief Operating Office, is seeking a Markets Innovation Lead to join its leadership team. The Markets Innovation Leader will drive the development and execution of Markets' innovation strategy and roadmap, in collaboration with senior business and functional leaders across CIB. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience within CIB Markets business(es) along with strong understanding of AI/GenAI market solutions.

In this role, you will:
  • Serve as trusted advisor and domain expert on behalf of Markets business.
  • Collaborate with Markets, Innovation, functional and tech teams to ensure the Markets strategic priorities and needs are represented in CIB Innovation prioritization.
  • Lead and work with AI Delivery teams, Fintech and GenAI Product Managers, and enterprise tech functions.
  • Drive Markets innovation roadmap and investment planning.
  • Partner and lead SMEs for business requirements, solution design, testing and execution plan.
  • Design and implement AI solutions or improvements to current operational processes across end-to-end lifecycles.
  • Must have a growth mindset and be solution and efficiency oriented.
  • Manage engagement and communication with CIB stakeholders at senior levels with a focus on the Markets division.
  • Engage Business Control and Operational Risk partners when needed to ensure appropriate subject matter knowledge is represented. Develop a wide network of business partners.
Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of management experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Managing Director or Director level experience in Sales and Trading.
  • Prior or existing Markets domain and AI implementation experience.
  • Led cross-functional teams on specific business transformation strategy and execution, including strong technology knowledge and AI solutions.
  • Ability to create relationship breadth and depth, while navigating the regulatory, compliance and legal intricacies of working at a highly regulated organization.
  • Strong communication skills and experience presenting to C-Level executives with the ability to convey complex information and ideas simply and clearly.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals and in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of current industry trends, constantly seeking new ideas.
  • Ability to navigate a complex and large global banking organization.
  • Demonstrated experience around inclusivity in leading and the ability to bring along all key stakeholders into the strategy to ensure the business is operating within our risk framework.
  • High energy with a passion for innovation and developing strategic high-growth partnership models.
Job Expectations:
  • Hybrid work schedule 3 days in office 2 days remote
  • Up to 20% travel
  • Must be willing to work in posted location
Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
