Wells Fargo is seeking a Capital Markets Middle Office Associate to join the Equity Finance/Structured Product Middle Office team within the Corporate & Investment Banking Operations group, part of the greater Wholesale Operations business. The Equity Finance/Structured Product Middle Office is primarily responsible for the daily support of the equity swap and structured derivative trading desks.

In this role, you will:

  • Monitor trading activity, facilitate life-cycle event updates, resolving amendment issues and inter-system breaks
  • Process corporate actions
  • Analysis of Flash P&L, daily settlement inquiries, validation and dispute analysis in support of various stakeholders, in addition to other functions
  • Partner closely with, and navigate various functions including Trading, Sales, Finance, Compliance and Risk Management
  • Review and identify breaks/discrepancies and explain to the trading desk as part of the daily control process
  • Deliver on ad hoc requests while maintaining strong quality of work for the Equity Finance Desk

  • 6+ months of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in Derivatives Operations, Middle Office and Capital Markets
  • 1+ years of experience supporting Trading systems, Applications or Platforms
  • Knowledge and experience with Derivative Trade Capture, Analysis and Operational Support
  • Experience with Daily Listed and OTC (Over The Counter) Derivative Reconciliations
  • Understanding of the front to back controls of Traded Products and Derivative Products
  • Accounting experience
  • Basic Microsoft Office Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days per week onsite)
  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening

Pay Range:
  • 27.74 - 49.38 USD Hourly

This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$27.74 - $49.38
