About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant for the Furnishing Team within Credit Bureau Management. This organization is responsible for the credit bureau reporting activities across the Wells Fargo enterprise to the credit reporting agencies for Home Lending products, including but not limited to Mortgages, Home Equity and Personal lines of credit. This role will be responsible for executing portfolio controls work for both pre and post furnishing activities, assessing the quality of the deliverables to the credit reporting agencies, and monitoring several key performance indicators. Driving operational excellence in process and procedure standardization, implementation and adherence to self-assurance policies and controls, providing input to technology roadmaps, identifying continuous improvement process opportunities and driving efficiency and effectiveness targets will be a key focus as a critical part of building a better Wells Fargo.

In this role, you will:
  • This BEC role will report to the Furnishing Team under the Home Lending Leader. The objective of this role is to drive the accuracy of consumer information furnished to the Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRA).
  • Execute our suite of controls focused on ensuring that pre and post furnishing quality expectations are maintained and control frequency for execution are met
  • Responsible for following, defining and enhancing procedures that align the furnishing function in Home Lending with the other systems of record.
  • Monitor and action data quality opportunities in the Auto space specific to reject, suppression, and variance reductions
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the credit reporting program in addressing issue management work and in assessing corrective actions that de-risk the furnishing space
  • Liaise with the upstream lines of business in addressing quality issues as they arise
  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management
  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 2+ years of Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with and strong working knowledge of FCRA and Credit Bureau Furnishing practices
  • Experience and/or exposure to the Credit Reporting Resource Guide (CRRG) and the industry standards for furnishing
  • Solid critical thinking skills
  • Experience communicating and presenting complex information to multiple levels of the organization
  • Ability to lead projects/initiatives with high risk and complexity
  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills
  • Ability to coordinate, lead and facilitate group meetings
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively partner and influence at the executive level
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Experience developing and executing business vision, strategies, and goals.
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, finance, or accounting

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to provide and work from a home office

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

Salary is just one component of Wells Fargo's total rewards package. Depending on the role, a Wells Fargo's employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
$73,100.00 - $143,000.00
