About this role:
This position is part of the Operation Risk Events within Wealth & Investment Management's (WIM) LOB under Chief Administrative Office (CAO). The Business Execution Associate Manager is responsible for managing the team of event coordinators and reviewers in ORE process and ensure quality assurance of risk events are properly reviewed, documented, meet quality targets, and comply with SLA.
In this role, you will:
- The Primary Responsibilities would be to assess, measure, monitor, control, and report Operational Risk Events and evaluate whether the Risk Management Practices and its documentation are in-line with ORE Policy and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise the team of Operational Risk Event coordinators/ Reviewers to ensure the events are created and reviewed and captured in SOR as per ORE policies and procedures in addition to Self-contribution in ORE program.
- Manage and develop a team of Business Execution Consultants/Associates while ensuring successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity and visibility.
- Ensure timely deliverables and weekly status and monthly Confirmation metrics for dashboard reporting.
- Ensure the TMs performance is meeting the designed KPIs.
- Ensure successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations that are routine and arise within the operations of the work group.
- Identify Business Execution opportunities and provide guidance on strategies, operations, and financial management for the purpose of process improvement.
- Mitigate risk development within the operations of work groups and functional areas.
- Make day to day supervisory decisions and, under the direction of management, resolve issues for procedure administration and adherence, systems or change initiatives, business continuity planning, reporting and research, project funding, quality management, communications, financial control, and internal processing of colleagues.
- Leverage interpretation of policies, procedures, or compliance requirements for the business group
- Collaborate and consult with immediate Business Execution colleagues and management while recommending strategies to implement changes and improvements.
- Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives.
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for smooth functioning of business operations.
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.

- 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Risk and Compliance management, financial services, reporting and analysis.
- 1+ years of management experience.
- Has a proven track record implementing solutions or problem solving within a large matrix organization.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing a team.
- Identifies issues/ shortcomings in the procedure/workflow.
- Demonstrates a keen eye for detail and provides constructive feedback.
- Analyzes & interprets various data to prepare reports to accommodate the business needs.
- Utilizes domain expertise in resolving process related queries.
- Degree in Finance or equivalent certification with exposure to Financial Analysis
- Experience in process review activity (QA/control testing or audit/RCSA) will be preferred.
- Experience in reviewing business controls, performing Quality Assurance reviews on deliverables by team members, business operations, compliance, or process
