In this role, you will:

  • Participate in less complex analysis and modeling initiatives, and identify opportunity for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation improvements within Risk Management
  • Review and analyze programing models to extract data, and manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial modeling, and exercise independent judgment to guide new and existing projects with medium risk deliverables
  • Coordinate and consolidate the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for more experienced management
  • Present recommendations for resolving data reconciliation, production, and database issues
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in policy governance, risk projects, and regulatory requests
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, managers, experienced managers, compliance, including various lines of business

  • 2+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:

Desired Qualifications:
  • Understanding of finance concepts like (NPV, ROA & ROE) and Excel financial modeling skills including knowledge of Excel VBA.
  • Strong understanding of business drivers and industry trends of financial portfolios.
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management.
  • Ability to learn the business aspects quickly, multitask and prioritize between projects.
  • Exhibits appropriate sense of urgency in managing responsibilities.
  • Ability to accurately process high volumes of work within established deadlines.
  • Demonstrates strong negotiation, communication & presentation skills with high degree of reliability, integrity and trustworthiness.
  • Takes ownership for responsibilities for own and drive same effort to the team. Proactive and takes part in org. initiatives.
  • Dedicated, enthusiastic, driven and performance-oriented; possesses a strong work ethic and good team player
Job Expectations:
  • Around 3-5 years in financial analytics role with hands on experience working on Credit Cards and Loans products for US market, requires strong domain knowledge on credit cards and loans
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in analytics projects with knowledge of financial analysis, financial modeling, reporting, knowledge of financial policies and regulations for USA market.
  • Graduate or Post Graduate degree in applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis.
  • 3-5 years of advanced programming experience in SAS/Python and SQL with hands on experience working independently and delivering end to end automation project.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Tableau.
  • 3-5 years programming experience in UNIX, Shell Scripting and VBA.
  • 3-5 years of experience with relational databases Teradata, Oracle or similar database.
  • Persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment. Detail oriented, results driven, and has the ability to navigate in a quickly changing and high demanding environment while able to balance multiple priorities.
  • Ability to research and report on a variety of issues using problem solving skills.
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.
