Wells Fargo is seeking an Auditor - Assistant Vice President.
The Audit Innovation Team, led by an Audit Management Director, supports the entire audit division and is responsible for driving innovation across the department through continuous assurance solutions, reporting/visualizations, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics. The team is focused on transforming Internal Audit through these primary solution types. This individual will be responsible for working with audit teams to drive innovation in audit execution by helping them identify innovation opportunities and by developing, deploying & supporting data analysis solutions.

- Perform audit testing for assigned audits within multiple segments of the Audit Plan
- Evaluate adequacy of design and effectiveness of controls for risks associated with a specific business process
- Identify and develop audit findings and making recommendations to management
- Prepare professional communication and clear audit deliverables including the summary of testing results and preparation of audit issue documents
- Complete timely and accurate testing
- Document work papers in alignment with the Internal Audit policy and guidance
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- 2+ years of Audit, Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- SQL or SAS experience
- Audit or other risk management experience
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to develop operational reporting and performing data analysis
- Experience in data processing, database programming, and/or data analytics.
- Experience building data visualization and/or reporting solutions through Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools preferred.
- Knowledge of Wells Fargo businesses, systems of record, and data warehouses.
- Participate in projects, analyses, and application of data analysis techniques across the enterprise
- Develop data-driven analytics capabilities to identify anomalies, outliers, emerging trends and operational risks across the Enterprise.
- Build continuous reporting and/or automation solutions in SQL or SAS that support risk identification.
- Design data visualizations in Tableau or PowerBI to support analytical and reporting needs
- Have organizational and execution skills; communicate effectively and ensure that all deliverables are met.
- Navigating within large complex technology environments to locate, validate, extract, and format data for data analysis testing.
- Be a critical thinker with an innovative mindset, coupled with a track record for creating solutions that are efficient, effective, and essential.
- Engage with peers and managers across the enterprise
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Internal Audit conducts audits and reports the results of work to the Audit & Examinations Committee of the Board of Directors. - The Innovation team includes analytics professionals focused on building advanced solutions for the department - such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, and automation. This is accomplished through strong partnerships with the audit teams Practices supports.
