Personal Lending is transforming the way we engage with our customers through innovative digital solutions that enhance our customer experience. Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Business Lending Relationship Management Consultant for its

Responsible for making outbound calls with the objective of acquiring new merchant partners to extend our consumer finance product to their customers (consumers). Representatives must be able to clearly articulate between unique industries, programs, and market segments. Requires advance knowledge of the sales process and phone sales techniques.

Requires advanced knowledge of company, products and/or services. Requires advanced problem solving and/or sophisticated sales techniques along with advanced knowledge of the sales process. Representatives act as a liaison between various departments and the merchant/client/customer to reach sales conclusion.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage relationships for assigned medium to large and high-profile dealer accounts
  • Develop strategy, proposals, and initiatives to generate additional revenues through optimizing business opportunities and ensure dealer satisfaction
  • Analyze profitability of ongoing relationship management and make recommendations to management about account disposition
  • Perform needs analyses with current customers and understand customer needs
  • Receive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Analyzes profitability of ongoing relationship management and makes recommendations to management about account disposition. Performs needs analyses with current customers; understands customer needs; builds customer urgency.
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 6+ months of Business Lending Development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 6 + months of sales experience
  • 6 + months of customer service experience in a contact center environment
  • Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point) skills
  • Ability to meet or exceed business goals and objectives, while fostering a team atmosphere Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with clients and internal partners both in person and on the phone. Ability to provide strong customer service while listening, eliciting information efficiently, comprehending, and resolving complex customer issues.
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of customers, team members, and management.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • 6 + months experience with working with financial products and services
Job Expectations:
  • This position is not eligible for a visa sponsorship.
  • Candidate must reside within a reasonable commute to a location listed in the posting.
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

  • Must be able to work an 8-hour shift during the regular business operating hours for this department which are Monday- Friday 8:00am -6:00 pm
