About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Manager

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop a team of individual contributors in planning, coordinating, and executing data research projects or results oriented intelligence that supports line of business or companywide business objectives
  • Identify and recommend strategies for developing and utilizing technical or analytic resources to enable initiatives that predict, improve, support, and measure business success
  • Interpret and develop strategies that maximize profits or asset growth and minimize credit losses, operating losses and other risk exposures
  • Ensure adherence to data management and data governance regulations, and policies and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and multiple level managers to ensure effective consultation and recommendations based on data analysis
  • Provide leadership to the department in the identification and development of innovative research concepts and designs
  • Work with clients to define issues and information needs and translate them into specific data and technical requirements to support business initiatives and projects
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:

  • 12-15 years of experience with focus on Analytics,
  • 8+ years as Manager, leading a team of 6-7 analysts
  • Hands on experience in enterprise tools, like, SQL, Python, SAS, Tableau PowerBI
  • 7+ years of SQL experience and SAS programming experience
  • Experience in handling Secondary and Primary Research data
  • Familiarity with tools such as Teradata Studio, Teradata SQL Assistant, SAS
  • Gather, organize and analyze data from various sources, and be adept in storytelling from data, for business partners
  • Ability to visualize data readout and provide actionable insights as well as recommendations/next steps
  • Experience in Analytics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Leadership experience
WIM - Investment CoE is responsible for maintenance and enhancements of management reporting, quality control reporting and strategic metrics supporting Investment CoE which is part of Wells Fargo Investment Institute. The team works closely with business partners , Technology, and Finance to provide key data in support of the Operations groups.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in building partnerships and collaborating
  • Advanced Excel skills manipulating data
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills creating presentations for different audiences
  • Ability to measure statistical significance on test results
  • Takes full accountability of tasks and focusses on solving problems, eradicate roadblocks
  • Adaptable to changes, open to learn new skill sets and work consciously towards it
  • Continuous drive to improve performance by deriving actionable insight from complex datasets.
