The Vocational Project Coordinator will administer, monitor, and report out on assigned special project within the Rehabilitative Services Department.  Typically, coordinating grants or contract efforts coordination to ensure full performance, proper documentation, and evidence-based standards are met.  Responsible for day-to-day operation of the rehabilitative project, and employees performing job tasks under the project.   May serve as a liaison between the organization and other outside organizations.

Pay Range & Benefits:  

$28.89/hr - $60,091

Spanish Language Differential: $2.50/hr

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Ensure compliance with MHCD policies, State and other regulatory policies regarding clinical care and documentation. 
  • Develop work flow, channels of communication, and procedures for the project.
  • Assist with the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting needs of the team. Ensure compliance of established budget.
  • Complete comprehensive vocational assessments, utilizing aptitude, interest and other assessment tools.
  • Coordinate with other rehabilitative services, staff, and support, as well as with primary treatment clinicians.  Coordinate care between the rehabilitation department and the clinical teams.
  • Develop individualized training plans for consumers in the vocational/rehabilitation program.
  • Coordination of consumer’s activities at assigned work stations/sites at MHCD or outside employers.
  • Monitor consumer progresses and activities with consumers, documenting services provided.
  • Complete timely and accurate data, reports and clinical documentation as required.
  • Participate in pre-vocational partial care services.
  • Conduct rehabilitative and goal-oriented educational opportunities.
  • Plan and facilitate social activities within the community and with the program.
  • Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned which help consumers work toward employment and recovery.

 

Requirements & Qualifications:

Education/Experience

· Bachelor degree in rehabilitation or related field and three years of experience in a vocational rehabilitation setting or experience with specific duties of this position required; or,

· Masters degree in vocational rehabilitation or related field; with one year of experience in a vocational rehabilitation setting or experience with specific duties of this position is required.      

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:   May supervise interns, and assign work to others, but no formal supervisory role.
