Essential Duties
- Responsible for order entry for orders received via phone, email, fax or from Account Consultant
- Perform account setup and maintenance administration for assigned Account Consultant accounts, including account set-up via WAXIE’s Web@Work online ordering platform.
- Research and resolve order flow and product backorder concerns.
- Perform price management by updating contract codes to ensure orders go out with correct sell price and costs.
- Assist Account Consultant with management of existing customer base and communicate regularly regarding customer pricing, problems or requests.
- Serve as problem-solver and liaison for account issues for assigned Account Consultant
- Liaise with Credit Department, Cost Implementation Team, Special Orders Team and Expeditor Team on all assigned divisional accounts and Strategic Accounts on national account administration.
- Communicate with customers by providing and updating quotes, bids, order confirmations, proof of deliveries, etc.
- Seek opportunities to up sell additional products as appropriate for each end-user.
- Communicate with external and internal customers utilizing WAXIE’s Basics of Service.
- Continually enhance product and service knowledge.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous WAXIE account management, sales or customer-oriented experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume and wide variety of work
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to resolve issues promptly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Previous A+ experience preferred.
- Knowledge of WAXIE products and services preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong math skills.
- Ability to retain confidential information.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
